lollipop update on moto e

When Motorola decides it's ready. They intentionally don't provide dates until the build is done and tested and they're satisfied that it's functional. Nobody here knows for sure, the only ones that have any kind of idea are the ones at Motorola that are building it.

By the way, Apple works the same way with iOS, it's just not announced that the new build is coming until it's ready for release.

That's up to Motorola. Again, nobody here has a solid date. Only Motorola knows what their TARGET is but they won't broadcast that as it's an internal date for completing the build and if they miss it people won't know different if they aren't given a projected date. If you need a definitive answer, go work for Motorola as that's the only way to find out.

Here's a little graphic that shows what the manufacturer has to do to get a stable and approved OS out for your phone. I know it's on HTC's site but it applies to ALL Android devices (Nexus included). HTC Software Updates | HTC United States

I read some latest news that motorola release lollipop 5.1

Are you talking about this article?

That's for the 2nd-gen Moto X. Just because ONE device is getting it, doesn't mean yours will just yet. They may have announced that your phone will get it eventually but there has been no news that the update is rolling out.

What country and carrier are you on? Different countries and carriers get the release at different times. Just because the AT&T model in the US is getting it doesn't mean the Vodaphone version in the UK is.
