Lollipop Upgrade - corrupted my phone

the lollipop upgrade started this evening at 8.30. By 9.10 it had frozen. i left it for a while, came back and now I have a red triangle with an exclamation mark. I have tried factory resetting but it wont reset. It keeps going back to the black screen with red triangle. Its an HTC One. Can anyone help or is my phone knackered?
