Sprint G2 is supposed to eventually get LP update, but you might have to wait a while unless you flash a LP custom ROM.

I'd say pretty good. It looks like Sprint has started on ZVF based on 5.0.2 http://device.sprintpcs.com/LG/LS980-SPRINT/latest

I'd bet most of the heavy lifting was done in the G3 port. I'd figure a month of dev and another month of QA. So we're probably looking near the end of May. But that's just a WAG.

I woke up this morning and looked at my phone. address bar notification from Sprint Zone. It said update to 5.1 . Now or later. I said later. Was I dreaming, because now I see nuthin?
Sprint's forum board has no news up about it being released, so I don't know.

I'd just like the updated interface the G3 has at this point. But, this is good news. Hopefully they send it out soon. But then how long until Sprint pushes it out?

Source code posting usually means it's done. I wouldn't be surprised to see it drop this week.
