So far the Preview version is looking very impressive. I've noticed the following,
1) It really is faster. I never really had an issue with performance on Kit Kat but Lollypop definitely feels faster. I just ran AnTuTu a couple of times and it confirms my subjective impression, according to AnTuTu it's twice as fast as it was under KitKat. I'm getting runs between 34000 to 36000, under KitKat the number was usually around 17000. Of course it's entirely possible that it's AnTuTu that's changed. Would someone please run it under KitKat and post the number so that we can all have a basis of comparison.
2) WiFI behaves better. With Lollypop it automatically switches to the strongest access point. I have several routers around my house. Under KitKat it would hang on to an access point even if it was very weak and there was a much better signal available from another. Under Lollypop I can walk around my house and it will always be connected to the strongest signal in that room.
3) Bluetooth seems to work better.
4) The radios seem better. I haven't covered enough ground to tell if this is for real or not but it seems to be having an easier time hanging on to a signal.
5) Battery life seems to be about the same.
Please post yoru impressions.
