Longtime iOS, first time Android...

Well I finally did it. After discovering I could buy a new unlocked and contract-free Galaxy Nexus for $349 (not much more than a brand new phone on contract!). I just couldn't hold back any longer. I ordered it from the Google Play store on July 20th.

I've been a long-time user of the iPhone 3G, iPhone 4, and most recently the 4S. All I needed to do to use the Galaxy Nexus was just move over the micro SIM card (with the help of an adapter of course), and I was good to go.

I've been using it for about a month now and I love it. Among many other things, the thing I love the most is the big screen. I actually went back to using my iPhone yesterday for a full day just to see what I used to have. It felt like I was using a toy with such a tiny screen!

I've learned so much about Android and how to use everything. I hope to soon be a regular contributor as I become more comfortable with the OS. :D

Welcome to AC!!

Always nice to welcome a convert. :D That's funny about going back to it and realizing just how small the screen really is. In addition to actually being Apple, the limitation on model variation (thus more screen size variations) is one of Apple's biggest drawbacks.

That's great to hear!! See you around the forums!! :D
