Hi,
I am looking at possibly buying a Galaxy S7 Active and wireless charger from a person who bought it, turned it on to inspect, and put back in box. Seller is trusted and on another forum and they decided to keep their iPhone which they bought at the same time to test out.
They are asking $550.
What holds me back is the date of manufacture, since mid July they started selling phones without the waterproofing issue. They say they bought the 6 weeks ago which is about August 22.
Questions:
1) Do you think the phone should be safe from the waterproofing issue?
2) Will the Samsung warranty still apply after I bought it from a private seller?
3) Does $550 sound fair for an unused S7A and wireless charger?

Thanks

1: You could always ask him to install the Samsung info app to see the build date, as you don't know how long that particular store had that one on it's shelf as for that store it may not have been a big seller and could still have been initial stock.
2: The Warranty should apply, but don't quote me on that.
3: Yes. If it was just the phone itself, I would say no, but the inclusion of the wireless charger, I would say yes.
