looking for a case with most grip

Hello everyone,

Looking for a case with most grip. I live in a cold climate, so the phone feels very slippery most of the time.

I got myself a Verus Thor case. I read a lot about it and surprisingly never really found out that it was slippery. Otherwise I love the case, it is perfect in every other way except the back being so slippery.

So in order to deal with lack of grip I had to do terrible things to this great case. I used egrips on the back and even cut the sides of the case - it is a horror show right now (see attached pictures), but I don't mind it because I feel like a spiderman handling this phone.

What I am looking for (in this order):
1 - most grip
2 - not too bulky
3 - looks

I use the Otterbox Defender case. The defender is smaller than they used to be. I currently use it and it is very grippy. Just pop out the built in screen protector and use your own.

I just ordered speck candyshell grip case based on some research. When asked which case is grippy, this case seems to be the only one mentioned. If this ends up being slippery as well then ... I have no idea.

I also say otterbox defender is very triply . I had a uag that the sales guy talked me in to when I got my note 4 I figure I would give it a chance and I had a defender on my old maxx. We'll I wanted my defender back so I had to buy one for the note now I feel much better

This is 100% accurate. Love how this case feels in my hands ... will miss the hourglass shape of my verus thor, but I wouldn't go back. Candyshell grip FTW!!!

And just to mention: the case is much nicer than what it appeared in pictures

Yes the back of the Defender case is the same rubber as the sides. I can lay my phone on the console in the front seat of my truck and it will not slide around.
