Looking for a new android..

Hi all, I have been using iphone and blackberry all these days. But I wanted to get a good android where it helps me in doing navigation, school stuff(my school app is good here), documents work. I hope everyone will give me a suggestion. I have signed up for Nexus 5X and I am not sure when it will be out so. I want a device this week. I am not looking at Samsung, my options are fluctuating between LG G4 and Moto devices.

I am looking for unlocked on vodafone in australia and my budget is around $500 of AUD. I am not looking for carrier contract.
