I want to buy this phone. I want to own this phone. I don't care about warranties, insurance, or any other BS as a reason to lock me out of root, while someone unknown to me DOES have root. Warranty the factory hardware, I will take responsibility about the os.
I should not have to flub around with some software from the internet equivelent of an alleyway dealer, poke and jab digital needles into the firmware, and basically hotwire a new key in the system just to have what I should have when I purchase an item.
All my cars allow me to open the hood, remove factory crap, and increase or decrease it's performance as I wish. It is not legal for me to go over 70mph anywhere, but every car I own is capable of breaking this law if I wish; I want to buy and own a phone with this logic in mind as well.
Anyone know of such a beast?
