Looking for a specific type of wall charger.

I would like a 2 plug, USB charger that will charge my One as fast as possible, as well as my iPad. Is there such a thing out there? My current Macally charger takes forever to charge the One.

Fast charging is not possible on the one. It's off by default and cannot be enabled. This is done in theory to make the battery last longer over time. I'm okay with it. No matter how powerful the charger is I believe the phone will limit the current.

Right, it limits to 1A to charge, but I don't think my charger is doing 1A, I think it's doing .5A. Basically I am looking for a 5V, 1A dual port charger that will simultaniously do two devices at 1A.

I have an iEssentials acp-2u that fits the bill. It does .5 up to 2.1 amps, so should work for you. Got it on clearance at FedEx office for $5.

I had to replace my car charger cause my old one was charging slower than the phone drained the battery while using nav. The One is definitely more finicky about chargers than other devices we have.
