Looking for advice: I bought a pair of Bose earbuds

They were a deal of the day, $49, at Best Buy, so I grabbed them. UPS just delivered them, as a matter of fact. BUT, I forgot to check before I bought them to see if they had inline mics and controls. And, as it happens, they don't. I am about to return them, however, I wonder if I should keep them to use with the VR headset. I have to worry about spending, because I just bought a new ultrabook, and I have accessories to buy for my Edge, like a case and one of those wireless chargers. On the other hand, they'd probably be a great enhancement for the VR. Maybe I do need them.

Thoughts?

I would say keep them only if you think you're gonna use them (and the VR) enough to justify keeping them.

If you don't think you will use the VD and earbuds that much then I would exchange them for something else like a case and/or other accessories for the S7e :)

I would just return them. Buying a headphone just for use in vr doesn't make sense to me

I agree with dpham00. You can buy a different set that has the features you want and still use them with the VR headset.
