Looking for an App to Block All Notifications Except Calls while Sleeping

So since the new Verizon update bricked the Blocking Mode setting I'm looking for an app that will turn off/down everything except my phone ringer. I don't want any notification, emails, facebook, chirps, bells, whistles or other stuff going off in the middle of the night, I only want my phone to ring for emergency calls. Preferably something that has a time/day setting. Not sure what to search for in Google Play. I looked at Timeriffic but when I tried to set the Notifications it said that it was tied to the main volume setting, which I need on so the ringer will work. Has Verizon really blocked all of this just to make money of something they provide? Any help would be appreciated? If its addressed in another Forum for the Galaxy S3 just point me there, so the search continues.

You can go with something like selective silence. It allows you to enter phone numbers or contacts that you want to get through and then put your phone in silent mode when you go to bed.

Thanks guys, I saw some postings in another Forum concerning Tasker, but was looking for something really simple and free is always good. Tasker does a lot more that I would probably ever use, as does Timeriffic. Still on the hunt.

I've tried a couple of apps so far based on recommendations, only problem is I keep getting a message that I cant toggle the Notification sound down and keep the Ringer up because they are linked! WTF is that a Verizon thing now too? I'm just about to give up on such a simple task, if Verizon wouldn't have stripped out the Blocking Mode that i had working i wouldn't be having this problem!

In Profile Flow I have an event that, at 9pm, sets my Ringtone volume to 50% (from 100%), Media volume to 0%, Notification volume to 0%, System volume to 0%, Vibration off. At 5am it turns the stuff back on. Been working every day since I set it up about a month ago. Its all point and click, no scripting knowledge necessary. That's why I recommended it. I'm on rooted-stock 4.1.2.

All right everyone, I think I found the app that does the job. Its called "I'm Sleeping" and its so simple to use, exactly what I was looking for and it works. Simple interface that lets you pick a start/stop time along with a weekend schedule. You build a simple "whitelist" of contacts that allows the calls from those to come through and silences all others. It also silences all e-mails, texts, and Facebook notifications, basically mutes the phone except for those callers you want, and its free.

I have just downloaded Profile Flow but I can't see how I can block notifications, emails, phone calls, etc, etc whilst I sleep so would somebody be good enough to explain how to set it up please

I don't know if OP's phone has it but I use Do Not Disturb. It has scheduling for days and times and for specific callers.
