Looking for app advise

Hello im a fireman and am looking for an app that is a group chat app that can have thousands of members to talk share pics info and locations. ( other firemen) I would love to create an app but have no experience. Any suggestions?

No need to reinvent the wheel, everything you describe is built in to G+. You could create a "circle " just for Firemen.

You could also check out Google hangouts. Its the new version of talk, I believe it supports video chatting and everything (if you have a front facing camera).

A facebook group or Google+ circle would be best. I think a Facebook group is the way to go. Even though I like Google+ better, too few people have it. You'll have more success with Facebook.
