Looking for music player that can handle classical music

Hi all,

I just jumped from an iPhone to Android (Moto G 2015) and although some things have taken some adjustment, most of the transition has been surprisingly smooth (certainly compared to my previous attempt to jump the Apple ship, back in the days of Gingerbread).

The only serious problem I've encountered is that I've been unable to find a single music player that can handle classical music. Not a single one. I found this rather surprising, to be honest. Not one player that I've seen can recognize the 'composer' tag (an essential aspect) AND play all tracks in a list of movements without gaps. Moreover, no amount of googling reveals a solution.

For me this is rather important since I write about classical music for (part of) a living, and at this moment I can't see how I can use my phone as a player without some serious compromises. Perhaps I need to add that part of what made me abandon the iPhone was Apple's decision to drop the 'composer' tag as a possible selector on the new version of the iOS music player (which made Audyssey the only option left on the platform).

In other words: HELP!

Meridian Player is a better app than Remix. Remix can browse the collection by composer, but as you pick that choice, it does not know the album hierarchy of the songs created with iTunes (it makes a long list of all the tracks -- useless!).
