Hi all! I just got an LG Escape P870 (AT&T) and I'm really liking it, but I've found very little info on it so far. I'm interested in rooting it, and I actually did it on my first one (don't ask). Now, my new one refuses to root using the same procedure from XDA developers, and I'm confused. I know the phone only hit the market in September, so I understand lag time, but I hope someone can throw me a bone. Thanks, and glad to be here.
BTW, started toward Android with Linux on my PC's, and got a Coby 7122 last November. This is my first smart phone ever.

The same root method wont always work for all devices. I was having buckets of trouble using SuperOneClick on my GTAB7. Did you find a guide specific for your phone when you went to root? If not, try and find one that is for your exact model, and, that will have a method that should work for you.
