Looking for Nexus 7 photo gallary app that allows deletion of unwanted photos

The Gallery app which came with my Nexus 7 does not allow for the deletion of unwanted photos. Seems it did not occur to the programmers that users might occasionally wish to delete unwanted photos or films, or that they made it exceedingly difficult to discover how to do so. Does anyone know of a substitute for the photo gallery which allows for the deletion of photos?

john the gallery is likely displaying photos in the cloud. you think they are on the tablet. remove them from the cloud and they will disappear from the tablet. so check your back up settings and see where they are going. that same thing happened to me. i could not delete them from gallery it got so bad it was sad. you can delete a photo on the tablet take one and go to gallery and delete it unless you have a one of the kind.
