Hey all,

I'm incredibly confused reading all these different links in regards to apple vs. android, watts, voltage, amps ... I just need a fast charger that replicates that of my S4 OEM charger.

- Tried the "OEM S4" (Amazon.com: Samsung OEM 2.0 Amp Travel Charger with Detachable Micro USB Cable for Samsung Galaxy Note, Galaxy Note 2 II, Galaxy S3 S III, Galaxy S3 Mini & Other Smartphones (Bulk Packaging): Cell Phones & Accessories) ... that charged at 460mAh.
- Tried the "Amazon basics 2.1a" charger (Amazon.com: AmazonBasics Wall Charger with USB Outlet (2.1 Amp Output): MP3 Players & Accessories). Charged at 700 something (I'm assuming because I don't have a charge only USB cable?)
- Tried Pwr+ 2A Rapid Charger (Amazon.com: Pwr+? 2A Rapid Charger Ac Adapter for Use with the New Kindle Fire or Kindle Fire Hd Models: Kindle Store), this does charge at 1900mAh; however if you unplug, you have to wait several minutes before you can use it again. During that time the green charge light blinks and it won't output anything.

I don't understand why this has to be confusing. I simply want faster chargers as the dozen of micro usb chargers I have around my house only seem to put out between 460 to 900mAh. Please point me in the right direction for either a true OEM S4 charger and/or safe/reliable 2a micro usb chargers.

Thank you very much!

Thanks for the recommendation jcast, still a bit pricey ... I did order an official ASUS Nexus 7 charger for $15, so we'll see how good that works next week.

mhinc, that does help; however doesn't put me any closer to finding the proper cables or chargers!

Ideally at this point, I'm looking for a couple 6ft chargers and hopefully one that I can attach a 12-15ft cable on. I have yet to find any cables out there that long that are purely charging. I tried two and both yielded less than 500mAh. $40 for the Samsung OEM (off their site) is just highway robbery and it appears all the others that state their OEM's are knock offs. The first I've found that actually charged at 1900mAh has sporadic issues and at this point I don't trust them.

I just received a charger from here, Android Central, which is an OEM. I tested it and it does provide 1900 whereas ever other charger I have from my Droid Charge provides, at best 1850. Compared to Samsung's price, and others I've seen, this is a good deal and I find it fast and probably better for the phone as well.

Happy to report that official Asus Nexus 7 charger is indeed charging at 1900mAh. Can also confirm that the VZW car charger also puts out 1900mAh. Now I just need a couple more wall chargers with either a long cord or a charger that supports 2a as well as a longer (> 6ft) charge only usb cable.

Can also confirm that the VZW car charger also puts out 1900mAh.

Is this the current one that VZW sells? With the squarish adapter and an LED on the end of the cable? I'm trying to find a good, nearly 2A car charger. I know some say 2A, bu it is 1A per port. You were able to get 1900mAh out of the main cable?
