I am about to root my EVO but before I do I would like to save off an important text string that I don't want to lose. I don't need it back on the EVO, just take the file and save off to my PC would be good. Any help on location would be greatly appreciated!

does that program work for reinstalling those messages?
when i would wipe out my blackberry. the blackberry desktop software had the capability of backing up all the users data and settings. one the phone was reloaded. all the users data and settings would be thrown back in. as if the phone was never wiped out.
it would be nice of i could do that with android.
