Hey guys,

I'm looking to buy an HTC one m7 to put a kind of pure android on it. I saw stock android on the Nexus 5 and I want to have something like that but with the m7. Is that possible? And what is the prognosis of future updates in the community for custom android versions? Pretty much wondering if it is foreseeable that I will be stuck on a version of android in a year or so?

Thanks guys

Why don't you just buy a HTC One Google Play Edition? It is an HTC One with stock Android on it. But keep in mind that it is pretty expensive, and it won't work on Verizon.

Take a look at swappa.com you may find what you are looking for in a used phone at a price you want to pay.

I'm in Canada and probably going to buy one of craigslist. I read somewhere that I can flash a google play edition on it so I can also get updates quite quick. I wonder if flashing and updating this works without too many problem?!
