I'm in the USA region and I'm looking to buy the s9 plus on Amazon. I c the USA region unlocked version is more expensive than the Asia version unlocked version. Is there a reason why?
I'm with T-Mobile but planning on moving to metro pcs.

I've also noticed the asia region unlocked s9 plus has less cellular band numbers 's the USA region unlocked band number.
Will the Asia region (India, Singapore) unlocked s9 plus phone have some issues working in the USA region? Speed, or not able to connect to certain cellular bands in certain areas?

Here is the Asia cellular band numbers 's the US :

4G FDD LTE: LTE band 1(2100), 2(1900), 3(1800), 4(1700/2100), 5(850), 7(2600), 8(900), 17(700), 20(800), 28(700)

4G TDD LTE: B38(2600), B39(1900), B40(2300), B41(2500)

And here is the unlocked USA region cellular band number version:

4G FDD LTE: B1(2100), B2(1900), B3(1800), B4(AWS), B5(850), B7(2600), B8(900), B12(700), B13(700), B14(700), B17(700), B18(800), B19(800), B20(800), B25(1900), B26(800), B28(700), B29(700), B30(2300), B66(AWS- 3), B71 (600MHz)

4G TDD LTE: B38(2600), B39(1900), B40(2300), B41(2500), B46(5200)

Looks like the U.S version has a wider range of bands. I also have TMobile but purchased directly from Samsung.

I ended up buying the s9 plus on Amazon. Other than the obvious, how can know and make sure it's not a refurb or it's a international version?

It would say refurbished on the box or with a note inside. As for the international version, you look up the model number and a certain model number is international.

I meant sometimes these sellers will try to say it's new but really a refurb. Meaning they might go through some lengths to make it say it's new. So some folks might not know. But I did some research on how to check if it's refurbished or not.

Yeah it's hard to trust the sources. I usually just get new from the manufacturer but have occasionally purchased from a third party.

I bought my ZTE and its been good. So far I haven't had issues.
I just find it odd that this seller or keeps changing its sellers name.
