Looking to upgrade from S6 to S9 - but have some questions regarding unlock version

Looking at getting the S9 from Best Buy; they sell locked and unlocked versions. Reading reviews I find that people are saying they unlock version doesn't have all the features a locked phone has.
Great you say, lol, get a locked version and unlock later, BUT, the unlocked version is $200.00 cheaper....

What I would like to know is, does the unlocked version indeed have less, or not all full features as the locked version??

I am with AT&T and happy with them; NOT looking to change providers.

Thanks, will have to look into it some more! I need an unlocked version, but don not want to loose some features...

True. But then AT&T doesn't change home page or add bookmarks that can't be deleted either.

I have AT&T Note 9 and unlocked S9+ with AT&T sim card.
Not sure what happens if I swap sims, but the wifi calling will only work on the Note. However I thought I read that the recent security update might allow it. Or is it the November update and only with beta Pie?

I prefer unlocked as wifi calling isn't important to me.
