Looking to Upgrade Moto Droid...

Looking at the following:
Droid Charge by Samsung
Thunderbolt by HTC

It all depends on what you like...with the Charge your going to get TouchWiz UI and with the Thunderbolt your going to get Sense UI.

I personally would go with the Charge, purely based on hardware.

Or if 4g isn't a big concern to you there is the Droid X or XW or Incredible 2!

Motorola Droid 3 was just leaked via video tutorial. If you like the Moto Droid series then it might be one waiting for.

I may just wait on the Droid 3....I really like the way the Motorola phones are built....

If your contract is up: Consider switching from Verizon to another carrier. There's a lot of great phones on every carrier now so unless you have to be on Verizon (for work or coverage reasons), I might take a look at some other phones. I just switched from an AT&T iPhone to the MyTouch 4G on T-Mobile and I love it. Small footprint, fast (both the hardware and web surfing), and I saved a ton of money - $90/mo for unlimited text, data, and voice and that's after taxes. I was paying about $150/mo on AT&T. I know Sprint also has some great phones and good pricing, too.

Of course, I do think, with possible exception of the Motorola Atrix, Verizon has the best Android phones on the market right now.

if 4G is important, than I recommend just waiting. None of the current 4G phones are very impressive. I would still buy the thunderbolt before the Charge though.

If you like motorola the bionic should be out Aug 4 according to other threads, 4g dual core should be a solid option. That's what I'm waiting for...
