Lookout say root access detected when it's not?

I secured my phone and apps but lookout is saying my device is rooted. I downloaded SuperSu and Root Checker and both said my device is not rooted. Is my device secretly rooted somehow? alsoI am version 5.1.1

If it was rooted at any time in the past, Lookout may be detecting signs of that. (Any changes to the system area would show as rooted.)

Well what do I do? Apps say it is not rooted so how do I make it go away or do I ignore it?

If you need an app to run, and it won't run on a rooted phone, you'd have to do a full backup, reflash the ROM, then restore everything. If you don't have any apps like that, just ignore it.
