that's crazy. Lookout has always been very battery efficient for me - from my OG EVO to my G-Nex to my Nexus 5. i wonder why it's working so hard on your phone? what are your Lookout settings? is it set to do a lot of scanning by settings or circumstance? i woul d uninstall, soft reset, then reinstall, and then do a full charge. and then monitor it again. if this displays again i would email the Developer with a screenshot. good luck!

Had the same issue here, looks like it was coming from Lookout and the GPS. Un installed Lookout and battery appears fine now.

The problem is not related to Lookout. Earlier this week I had the same issue with my phone. Battery died by lunchtime, look at batter usage and Tiny Death Star game was the culprit, back of phone was on fire. Ok so I kill the app, things are fine for a day or so. This afternoon I go to look at my phone at lunch, battery is almost dead and Tumblr and Lookout are the culprits this time. So again, dont think Lookout alone is the issue as mine started with another app earlier this week.

Thanks guys I deleted Lookout and my battery lasts more than 24 hours without any issues!

I'm having the problem now too. Updated T-Mobile Galaxy S3 to 4.3, and lookout is now the biggest battery drain of all apps.

please email Developer and let them know about the problem -

Same here, anybody try to contact lookout...any feedack?
I haven't had this problem in a few Lookout versions. They were aware of the issue and attempting to fix it. If you still have this problem with 4.4.2 and their latest version (8.34.1), let them know. I've been running for over a month without a Lookout spike.

I've never seen that on my devices. Try a reboot to see if it helps.

It started with MJA and continued into MK2 with only the Sprint S4 known to have had issue when I was in contact with a rep. Lookout was puzzled as to what Sprint did that upset their software. I just hope that either one of their later software updates or Kit Kat itself fixed the issue.

A reboot is only a temp fix. The error can either appear on boot or later on. The only tell-tale sign is the fast battery drain and the phone heating up from the CPU running non-stop.

Just got KitKat last night and already I see Lookout my biggest battery hog at 32%. I turned it off so now we'll see.
