Well we'll see. Google just used Motorola before for getting their hands on patents to fight against Apple. They have enough leverage to be allowed to use Apple patents if they let Apple use their patents, if that's even legal.

Hopefully this could lead to more Android One devices.

HTC has a pretty lucrative patent cross licensing deal with Apple. Wonder if that's a driver here.

I remember when I joined the world of phones, the M8 was very highly regarded, and now it’s the U11. A few slight misjudgments in between perhaps, but the capacity for genius is there, so good choice.
