Looking at a list of the N Dev previews, there's one beloved device missing :

Nexus 5X
Nexus 6
Nexus 6P
Nexus 9
Nexus 9 LTE
Nexus Player
Pixel C

The Nexus 7 2013 and Nexus 5 are both missing from the list. Not that this is a surprise, we more or less knew that the two devices wouldn't be officially supported beyond M. But they will most definitely get custom builds....

End of an era, I guess.

😡It just so happens that I have a 5 and a 7. Superb devices both. I shall remain faithful to them. But I thought that the 5 at least would be getting the final build?

It may get the final version, just not a candidate for the preview.

There's reports both the Nexus 5 and Nexus 7 2013 are being tested as well (via Google's Git repositories). Whether or not we'll see this publicly for testing is anyone's guess. I'd sure like to try it out on my Nexus 5 or 7 if it does come out.

Me too. Those two devices are surely two of the best designs ever produced. I don't know of any obvious reasons that they should not be able to run Android 7.0, if Google wills it.
