Loosing battery when phone is turned off

Hi

I loose more than 20% battery during a night with a new P10 lite. Is this normal or should I return the phone? I also noticed phone got overheated during a charge. I have workphones also Huawei but they don't loose battery.

Update. It was Chrome all the time. This phone only works with Chrome dev.. 100% better and it doesn't drain the battery when the phone is turned off

Welcome to Android Central! When you say that the phone is turned off, do you mean it's completely powered off, or just that the screen is asleep?

If the phone is asleep, Chrome shouldn't be draining the battery. Do you routinely visit a site that might make Chrome stay awake in the background? What happens if you close all Chrome tabs prior to going to sleep?

Also, try setting all apps to close after the screen locks.

I ment when the screen is asleep. If I have a shortcut with Chrome in the menu during ultra power saving mode the phone uses more than 20% while the screen is asleep during a night.. I tried several browsers they work slightly better but chrome dev works 100 or 200% better. Battery is drained 5% or so during the night if I have Chrome dev on the menu.. If I don't the battery don't get drained maybe 1 or 2%.

I'm not sure if I turned them off or on but I did now. Will see how it work with Chrome dev....
