Losing 3G After Standby

If I leave my phone in standby for about 30 minutes it loses data connection and I have to toggle and untoggle airplane mode to get it to work again.


I am using Stock Virgin Mobile + Xionia Kernel (BETA 2)

I've had the same issue on stock and rodimusrom. I think it's either a virgin mobile issue or phone hardware issue, either way I don't think there is a real permanent fix.

Ok, I just did a couple of tests using rodimusrom. I left my phone on 3G, and let it go to sleep for 45min-1hr. I then called the phone using my sipdroid number. Sipdroid rang both times. So the 3G was working while it was asleep. Maybe it is the act of waking up that is interrupting the 3G. I haven't tried waking the phone and using the 3G yet. Or maybe the problem relates to your particular setup and not rodimusrom in general.
