I keep losing 3g connection everywhere. No matter where I go. Frequently. Not here and there somtimes. Everywhere all the time.

I picked up my other nexus in the same location and it had a solid connection and loaded webpages quickly when I had nothing.

Anyone else having issues. Wasn't bad like this before.

Yep been having that problem since I purchased the phone. Sprint claims it's because they're currently upgrading 3g towers to lte. I think it's a software issue but we shall see.

switch it from CDMA/LTE to CDMA only in the system selection menu, reboot and see if that works.

I did that the first day of getting the phone, and it hasn't seemed to help at all. Today it disconnected from the mobile network for 4 whole minutes! I even took sceenshots so I can show the Sprint tech when I go in to complain!

I just got a new evo lte because my old one died and my new one is doing the exact same thing, ive been missing some calls because itll show no service for a little while, dont know what the issue is

They are doing a lot of work to the network. About a month ago I could not even stream anything because of same issue. I just rode it out for that week. Now my 3g is better than ever.

Yea. That didn't change anything. Still losing connection. Definitely a software issue. Like I said. The nexus right next to me isn't having these issues. And this signal strength on this phone is much better.

Im having the same problem called sprint yesterday and to theme its " the phone" my voice bars are all the way up but i lose my 3gdata for no apparent reason leaving me 2 wait between 3 to 5 min for data to com back on ....and what the sprint tech told me im not even a mile away from a tower ...i could talk just cant use internet ...and by the way yes im on cdma only

This is why i went to the GS3. Sorry HTC. I am convinced they have not worked out the bugs when it comes to the new and old system sprint is using.
Between Android Central and XDA seems a lot of EVO LTEs have issues with data, dropped calls, the device reverting back to CDMA/LTE after the user switched it to CDMA only..
HTC if your reading this, please look into the radios and software related to them and try to fix this for the people who still have an EVO LTE..

I was just saying I got screwed again. Finally fighting off samsungs trap they always have me in. And it seems like this time around they have the better device. And software updates coming.
