Losing WiFi on other devices

When I am using my wifi on my xoom ( which has 3G) it actually causes my other wifi devices to "drop their wifi connnections" when I have it on 3G the other devices (laptop, etc.) run fine.. Am I doing anything wrong.. is my browser too slow to carry the xoom and other devices at the same time. my router is an older G series so that may be the problem.. any suggestions?...Thanks

Do you have an adequate supply of ip addresses available in your dhcp pool? I also, and does your wifi router limit the number of available connections? This sounds like a network issue, and not a xoom issue.
