Loss of LTE (Cricket Wireless)

First of all, I hate the new AC forum format...

I have Cricket Wireless, which runs on AT&T towers. The past couple of days I've noticed I'm not getting LTE (only 4G). This could've been happening longer. I upgraded to Android 7.0/EMUI 5.0 a couple of weeks ago. I contacted Cricket and have done the resets and sim removal. Anyone else experience this problem?

I have at&t, no issues with maintaining LTE signal. Only time I notice that I loose it is in a basement or closed off space. I've had 7.0 for a few weeks now, could be something on the tower side in your area.

I feel so dumb. So, I ran speedtests when I first noticed the change and it was slower than normal LTE speeds. I just ran the test again, and it's back to normal. I then realized that my new theme changed the LTE icon, so that it just says "4G" while still being LTE. Ha! Oh well.

Happens to us all....That one reason I tend to stay away from themes, I've had issues like this in the past.

Well only two carriers in the world consider hspa+ to be 4g... Outside of those two carriers, the 4G display means LTE.
