Loss of Network Connection on Nexus 5

I'm currently on a Nexus 5 using Ting as a service provider. I'm in Canada now and roaming has worked fine before but last night my phone did a network update and now I cannot get any service. I tried PRL and profile updates, doing the *#*# thing and switching around settings in my phone. One weird thing I noticed is that I had to switch the 'Preferred network type' from LTE to Global when coming here and now it reads LTE even though I select Global and when I try to switch it it switches back. Any thoughts on how this could get fixed?

First, try a Cache Partition wipe.
