Loss of Quality on pics while zooming

Hey all,

I've downloaded a .png file from a site displaying a grid of answers to the LSAT. when clicked on in the browser I can zoom in with great clarity. Whenever I save the document, I can't zoom without it becoming really grainy and basically unreadable.

I've tried saving the file onto my computer and then transferring, but experience the same issues.

Any suggestions on how to get the file so that it's readable on my phone?

I can't see the image you linked, but I believe the issue you're talking about is a problem with the way images are displayed that's been built into Android since 2.1.

In fact, I'm surprised you can zoom in on the image in the browser without any issues (unless you're using a non-stock browser?).


In any case, some alternative gallery apps can view images properly when zoomed in. 'B&B Gallery' does the job pretty well.
