loss of sound

I just got my One in May and suddenly , a few days ago , when I call out, the person on the other end cannot hear me
I tried using the "recording " feature and sure enough, even with volume up high, I can't hear what I recorded
Music is fine and Beats Audio for playback seems fine and calls out seem ok with ear buds
Any ideas on what could have caused this ?

Your microphone may have a loose lead or just plain failed. This should be covered under warranty.
