Lost all contact photos

Just switched from gnex to s3 and set everything up then 2nd day all contact photos disappeared.. Anyone have any ideas on how to get them back? Thx

Did you have them save to Google? Have you logged into your Google account? Provide as much information as you can. What model phone is the S3. Who is the carrier?

In the Contacts app, press the Menu button, select "Contacts to display" and verify that it's set to "All contacts"? That's the only thing I can think of - I'd assume that the pictures would be stored along with the contact information that you had synced with Google.

Verizon s3 yes first thing I did when I got phone was login to Google, had them for like 2 days then all of a sudden they disappeared don't know if I accidentally changed something but they were all synced with Google, I've switched to show all contacts in contact app and it didn't help tried switching to just my Google account and that didn't help either

I have found the exact same thing! Is there a fix or workaround other than to go into Skype settings and set "Sync Contacts" to "Don't sync?"

I have lost my photo from contact list,
I have got the same issue while I have sync with Skype. Any chance of recovery as using s3
