What shoould I tell sprint? I have the insurance?

Only you would know if you have insurance , check your Sprint account and or bill. And if you do call Asurion NOT Sprint. And get ready to pay 100.00.

I believe the insurance covers lost phones, so I don't think you have to come up with a story for that.

definitely tell Sprint/Asurion--so they can deactivate the phone & black-list the ESN so it can't be purchased by a learned consumer.

also, try logging into Latitude and see where the phone is located. it's a long shot, but it's helped people before.

oh, if only the new HTC Sense website were up--it could remedy this

The insurance definitely covers up to two lost phones in a calendar year. You will have to pay the $100 deductible and just need to tell them you lost it.

I thought that was for only phones that had been stolen. Had a family member recently lose his and he didn't have to fill out an affidavit.

I could be wrong though.

i've seen them not blacklisted, but its a chance you'd have to take.

I had sprint suspend the service on the phone, called the tep # and they have my new phone on the way within 5 days. Sucks I had to pay 100 but whatever.

And wish I thought about the latitude thing.

Btw I just told them I lost it and that was it

thats why you pay the insurance so you dont have to go and pay retail for another phone
