I "misplaced" my Galaxy S5 and I am wondering if there is a way to do a factory reset from a PC? I do not have a lock on the phone so anyone who finds it can review all of my info.

Well, get yourself logged in over the Gmail account which you have used in over your S5, once logged in go to the Android Device manager and see if your device is online once you see your device is online, click the erase button available over there. But it will only work if your device is still connected to the data services or wifi network. So, i'd say better to do this in a hurry if you don't want ...... All the best !
