Lost in-call sound/ music isnt playing throught speaker

A couple of hrs ago the music was playing fine through the speaker... but now its dead silent. i check all the volume in both the phone setting and the quick setting app. Also i just noticed that i lost the in call sound. which means when i call someone i have to use the speaker phone in order to hear them, another thing is when i plug the headphones in i can hear the music through the headphones, but cant hear the music through the phone speaker when i unplug the headphones. Also the ringtones play through the speaker, which doesn't make sense how ringtones are playing through the speaker and the music isn't. I'm thinking that it could be a defective speaker or corrupt files.

Check Quick Settings and make sure the phone music level is up, and that the speaker is not muted...there is a mute/unmute switch there. If it looks right, reboot the phone.

Thanks but it turned out that the cm7 room somehow broke. making the phone act all weird. plus i had to restore as close to stock rom with everything on. to fix the problem...cause it just keep acting all wierd when i tried to reflash the cm7 a few times to fix the problem. but its all fixed
