Lost my contacts during factory resetting-Android 6

[Android Central Question]

Most of my contacts were in my Yahoo account ,some were in SIM card . After the factory reset I am unable to download Yahoo Mail or Whats App . Is it advisable to use the SD card as internal memory ? Please help

No, because you'd be in the same situation after a factory reset. If you format an SD card as internal storage (if the device allows such) means that when the phone is reset the SD card is either wiped or is just rendered unreadable until you next format it.

If you contacts were in a Yahoo account, have you checked your Yahoo account online to see if they're there?
