Lost phone question.

Hello.
My wife can't find her phone. No problem, I thought, we will log her into google from my phone, and use an app to find it.
But we can't get into her account as my device is not known by her account and google is asking for her to answer her phone to approve of this. I go to 'can't use my phone' and I have no further steps from there.
Any ideas?

Most likely you will need your Wife to log into her Google Account from a computer, and then go to the Find Device app from her Google Account.
