Lost Rear Camera on my M8

Two days ago, I was able to take pictures using the rear camera on my One M8. Today, I can no longer do that. The rear camera choice is GONE from the choices in the phone. I can only choose Selfie or Photo Booth and both only use the front camera. An update must have broken this. I un-installed the latest HTC Camera app update but it didn't help. I have no idea what to do. I have restarted the phone twice with no luck. Even tried using the Camera app from the main app area. I no longer have any way to access the rear camera and take pics of people. Please send advice.

Welcome to Android Central! I'm not familiar with the M8's most recent camera interface -- can you show a screenshot? http://forums.androidcentral.com/ge...ide-how-post-screenshots-android-central.html. Was there a toggle button that suddenly disappeared? Can you tell us how you toggled between front and rear facing cameras in the past?
