Lost s-memo notes after update

I recently updated my galaxy s3 and after the update my s-memo notes were empty. I also noticed when I go to my Samsung account in the storage usage for s-memo it shows that there is memory used. Does anyone know of any way I can retrieve them?

If there isn't a backup and the notes didn't sync then no, you can't retrieve the notes. In the future be sure to sync/backup the notes (everything else as well) to prevent losing the data in the future.

I thought updating is not supposed to delete any data? That was the only thing that was missing

this just happened to me! Did you ever figure out how to retrieve your data from the cloud (Samsung acct storage)?
