You all have read posts from someone who does something to his phone and then someone who replies says that if you don't know what you are doing, don't do it, well that's me.
Long story short... rooted my phone a week and half ago, 1st time ever doing it. Everything went smooth, installed Charmeleon pokemon after backing up the stock os, everything was working fine, flashed Mean rom a couple of days later, all is still good.
Yesterday I tried to change roms and I have no idea what I did but I ended up losing all the roms and the stock os. I know this because when I went to install and it said "could not find os" and the list was gone. At this point all that I could get was the bootloader, nothing else!
Ok, I get home and of course I come to the forums and after reading and not finding anything to really explain what happened I thought to myself if maybe I download another rom onto the sd card I might be able to then flash it, so I downloaded Viper and I was able to flash that and my phone is back working great again.
So now my question is is it possible to get the stock os back on the phone in case I need to take it back to Sprint. I did read a post today that talked about super sonic ruu, but I'm not sure if that pertained to my problem.
Thanks for any assistance. Oh, I have the evo 4g lte

If you want to go back to completely stock in order to exchange the phone, RUU is the way to go. Just make sure you use the Jewel RUU...Supersonic is the OG EVO.

Sent from my EVO LTE

It's not that i want to go back to stock, just needed to know in case I ever have to return to Sprint for something. Thanks for your reply, much appreciated!

bahhh Dont look back.

Flash new roms often till you find one you really like then flash another one lol

Welcome to the wonderful world of flashing ROM's. It sounds like you are well on your way to becoming a Flashaholic. I expect to see you in the next Flashaholics Anonymous meeting.

yep RUU will do the trick, are you dev unlocked or lazypanda? i believe for dev you need to oem lock the device back before using th RUU I could be wrong though.....its a fastboot command like "fastboot oem lock" or something like that......google it if you need to.
