Lost tablet motherboard

Hi Everyone, i wanted to ask something:

Would anyone have access to information on a tablet motherboard that such tablet went damaged 6 years ago and of which I only had the motherboard (I had removed the screen because it was broken, the speaker and the battery from the motherboard).

But I lost the motherboard 6 months ago and I don't know if it's somewhere in my house or was thrown in the trash

Welcome to Android Central forums. You also don't tell us what brand or model tablet this is. In general there isn't some secret special site for finding old phone parts. You can search the brand make and model of device with the terms screen replacement under the shopping tab, and you'll find what there is to find.

You also don't say what your goal is with this device. I ask because the internal memory is probably on the same board as the CPU and RAM, which would mean any data is gone with the old mother board. Also the new mother board will not be able to decrypt any SD cards encrypted by the last board since it would not have or be able to generate the same encryption key.

On a side note research very carefully what the installation procedure is because there is a chance that device won't recognize the new board. This probably more dependent on brand than anything. If they allow mismatch parts to work plug and play style. You will also have to install the OS on the new chip set. From what I've read this would be a bootleg version of the OS as the factory OS is pre-installed and inaccessible without rooting the device. This means that you may have to preform some portions of the rooting process to access and be able to install the unofficial Android version for that device you'll need to find to have any chance of getting the device to work again.
