Coming from the Priv, everything is fast and perfect. Finally a battery for the day, fast multi-tasking and the keyboard allows me to get things done. Fingerprint and smart unlock work perfectly. Plus nova launcher. Can't wait for the free vr to show up.

As much as i hated the idea of the new fingerprint reader placement, it actually works better for there,

I had to admit i was wrong.. dangit! Lol

Fps was most certainly the biggest "con" media covered for S8 and it's been something that bothers me far less than some other things

I had the keyboard for my S7 and it was pretty cool.

With the taller screen of the S8 I can imagine how it would be even better since you still have a lot of screen real estate.

I've also jumped from the priv to the s8+ with keyboard case. Only one problem for me is the AOD with the keyboard clip onto the front it will not display the AOD display an will revert to a normal lock screen.

I'm still not sold on it honestly. Unlocking in general has definitely been a con for me. Facial recognition seems to work when I don't want it to, and not work when I do. I often have to feel around for the FPS and b/c the S8+ is so tall I feel like it's unstable in my hand the way I hold it.

Everything else about the phone I like a lot though!!!

I wouldn't mind seeing a few pictures as well. Still contemplating whether to keep my S8+ and keyboard case is one of those things that might push me to the yes side.

Here is a generic pic of it.

It works really really well. It's not back-lit, but I've learned where the keys are and don't care. It's also not powered, so that's a huge plus. Its not as smart as say the Priv keyboard but the s8 itself makes up for that and then some. I also love that I can pop it off easily and store it on the reverse side of the s8. There are a few samsung features you lose out on, with the slightly smaller screen desktop, but I designed my desktop around the idea that the keyboard would be on most of the time. I should mention, I'm using Nova, which allows you to tweak the screen to get it to your liking. And I don't see much difference inside the apps I use.

How can you not be happy, when you're coming from BlackBerry. j/k

I tried that Keyboard case last year and I got over the whole physical since I left BlackBerry for a very long time. I was a CrackBerry, my first smart phone back in 2009, Bold 9000.

The priv was my first blackberry, used to have treo's and other keyboard phones. Then gs3 - gs5, and i missed a keyboard greatly, both for sms and the many emails i send in a day. Had the priv been able to multi-task without over heating and battery draining, i'd still be using it. It was a great phone when it worked. Thanksfully the power of the gs8, the battery and now the cover, everything i want/need has been answered.
