Love "Protect Battery"

For me, the nicest thing about updating to Android 12 is the Protect Battery feature. I previously had an app installed that would let me limit the battery charging by giving an audible alarm so I knew to manually remove the charger. But now with this feature, I removed that app and now it stops the charging even though it stays plugged in. Well done!!!

Agreed! I used to be so anal with my battery charging habits, obsessively checking battery stats and setting alarms to go off at 80%... This one feature takes care of all of that by simply stopping the charge at 85%. Brilliant.

I've also had a battery charge alarm app in my Note 10 Plus for about 20 months. I set my limit to 95 % for various reasons. My phone's battery capacity is presently at 93%. Still it's a nice feature to have from Samsung. I NEVER use wireless chargers and try as much as possible to charge the phone switched off.

accuBattery... I obsessed over that app for the entire time I had a Note 9 and S20 Ultra. At some point, I stopped trying to make the battery last forever and accepted that I was going to have a new phone within 2 years anyway. I still try and keep the charge in between 30-85%, trying to never go over or under that, but that's a whole other can of worms.
