Loved my S2, but pulled the trigger on a S4

I have to say after installing (without problems) Jelly Bean on my S2 I really fell in love with it again. Now on to the S4, immediately impressed with camera and battery usage. I played with it until late last night and I kept expecting big battery drain. No it doesn't . It is slightly bigger than S2, but much thinner. Given I was already on JB, haven't seen much difference in user interface yet. Love the big beautiful screen, more vivid than S2.

Another thing I noticed is a much stronger Wifi antenna. I get a much stronger signal in places where the S2 got spotty reception.

Haven't used all the cute ways to navigate without touching the screen. I understand when I pick my nose, I get Political Central?

I wish a black one was available, but with the white version I will get closer to my feminine side. :-) ;)

So far very happy.

How's the GPS? I have the terrible hard-to-get-a-lock GPS on my Epic Touch. I want to get an S4 for my next upgrade in Aug, but not if there is even a hint of GPS problems. I can't take it anymore. What has your experience been?

I haven't been able to use it much for GPS, but will do so and report back. I used it once and it connected immediately. Maybe not a good test, lets see what 10 uses gets before I bless it. I can say the battery is awesome. Started at 8am yesterday, was on the phone for 3 hours at least, did a number of email checks, went to my favorite game, Big Fish Casino to get my bonus dollars and when I went to bed at 10pm it still has 28% battery left.

Do notification sounds still come through the phone speakers while a headphone jack is plugged in it?

GPS is phenomenal ~! Just last night, I did a side-by-side comparion between the E4GT & and the S4 under cloudy skies during the evening, and the S4 locked on in 1 sec and connected to 20 satellites. The E4GT took 15 seconds & locked onto only 8 satellites. The test was done with the GPS Test app.

Glad to see you are enjoying the S4. I'm considering it as my upgrades nears this summer. If my E4GT is still going strong I might sit tight and see what's around the corner towards the fall/winter.
