Low Phone Call Mic Volume On Bionic

I bought my droid bionic in maybe February, and the phone is AMAZING. Although lately I've been having this problem during phone calls. THE MICROPHONE VOLUME IS VERY LOW. Every time I get on the phone the person on the other end of the call complains that they can't hear me, and it sounds like I am very far from the phone... I'm really not sure of what could have caused this problem and I would really like to fix it since I talk on the phone A LOT. Anyway, I hope there is a way this problem could be fixed.. I've tried looking for some way to turn up the volume but so far I have no results. Please feel free to answer. Thank you!

Do you get the same results with a different microphone (e.g., bluetooth or wired headset)? If not, is it possible that something is obstructing the microphone hole?

No, when I am using those kind of devices it comes out perfectly clear. I also tried testing the microphone by using the phones voice recorder and video camera, and it sounds just fine. This problem only occurs when I am using the phone.
