Lower IR sensors for reaching for your phone

I was wondering the same thing but when I reached over directly above the screen the screen lights up. I don't know if it's suppose to be that way I always thought it was the bottom sensors with the way the animation shows it on OP's post.

using the 'wave to disable' test app, it no longer registers my hand. ive tried from different heights and angles.

I have found that for this to work consistently, you'll need to wave above the device with your fingers together. If you have your hand opened up and fingers spread out, detection seems spotty at best.

Moto forum has a link explaining how they work. The top two are receivers the bottom ones are transmitters.
