LTE doesn't work on an unlocked phone

I have an unlocked Verizon Samsung Galaxy S4, i moved to another country and it's unable to work on LTE network mode, i have to put it on GSM mode, i have a 4G subscription with my carrier here but i don't get service when i switch to LTE mode

Your phone only supports LTE Bands 4 and 13. Do you know if your carrier in the new country works with those frequencies? If not, your phone won't be able to get LTE service (usually the case with 'International' phones from Europe when moving to the US or viceversa).
